Battling against others is endlessly entertaining, and one of the most thrilling features in Infinity Kingdom is the Arena, where you can duel other players. Watching yourself grow stronger and climb the ranks is incredibly rewarding.
However, many players aren’t familiar with the intricacies of the Arena. Let’s break it down.
Rules
The Arena unlocks once your Stronghold reaches Level 11. By this stage, most players have a decently formed team ready for action.
The Arena operates on a seasonal system, with each season lasting 30 days. Rewards are distributed based on your rank at the end of the season.
You get 5 free challenges per day. Winning grants you points, medals, and victory points, while losing deducts points and awards no victory points.
After each challenge, your opponents refresh. If you don’t challenge anyone within an hour, the system refreshes them automatically.
The three opponents are ranked from left to right in descending order of strength:
Defeating the leftmost (strongest) opponent grants 3 victory points.
Defeating the middle opponent grants 2 victory points.
Defeating the rightmost (weakest) opponent grants 1 victory point.
You can challenge up to 20 times per day. After the free 5 attempts:
The next 5 attempts cost 20 gems each.
The following 5 cost 40 gems each.
The last 5 cost 60 gems each.
How to Play the Arena?
First Season: Single Team
In the first season, you can only deploy one team, so use your strongest lineup. The essence of the Arena is picking the most "cost-effective" opponent among the three—someone you can beat for the highest reward.
Generally, you can gauge an opponent’s strength by their power rating.
When you first enter the Arena, you’ll climb the ranks over about a week until you settle into a tier with players of similar strength. The key is maximizing your victory points within this competitive range.
Focus on Your Main Team
In the first season, pour all your resources into your main team. The other two teams should focus on resource gathering—don’t invest too much in them.
Most players in this season have teams at around 5 stars. If opponents consistently have higher star ratings, avoid them—they’re out of your league.
Judge Strength by Star Level
Each star upgrade significantly boosts an Immortal’s skills, especially at 3star, 5star, and 7star, which unlock additional skills.
For example, if you’re at 4star and your opponent is 5star, avoid fighting them. Even if their power seems similar, the extra skill makes a huge difference.
Use Crowd Control (CC) Skills
If the power difference is within ±3000, the outcome is unpredictable. To defeat stronger opponents, equip CC skills like Silence, Taunt, or Stun on your frontline Immortals.
Landing a few extra CCs can turn the tide in your favor.
Pay Attention to Elemental Counters
Elemental matchups matter. For example, if you’re using a Water team against a Earth team, you might lose even if your power is higher.
How to Scout Opponents?
Before attacking, check their victory points. If they’re in the Top 100, tap the Rankings on the right, find their name, and inspect their lineup (Top 100 players are visible).
Here, you can see their team composition and skills. Compare their setup with yours to estimate your chances.
General Strategy:
Ensure you can beat others while making it hard for others to beat you.
The Arena refreshes every hour. If you can’t win now, wait for the next refresh.
Second Season: Three Teams
In the second season, you deploy three teams. While you can adjust team order based on elemental counters, raw power matters more.
Team order isn’t as crucial now.
Beware of "Fishing" Tactics:
Some players only deploy one overpowered team to appear weaker, making it easy for them to sweep all three of your teams.
Don’t just look at total power! Tap their profile to check their highest-power team. If it’s 10,000+ power above yours, even your three teams combined may lose.
In the second season, you can’t max out all three teams—the other two are just support.
Rewards
The Arena offers multiple rewards:
1. Shop Exchange
You can trade for Epic Immortal fragments.
Priority: Harald III (to build a Water team faster).
If you main Earth, save for Earth fragments in Season 2.
2. Daily Rank Rewards
Based on your tier, you receive gems, medals, etc. daily.
3. End-of-Season Rewards
At season’s end, you earn medals, gems, and Epic Immortal fragments, so play carefully near the deadline to secure your rank.
Final Tips
The Arena tests your team’s strength. With enough levels and careful opponent analysis, you can climb steadily. Good luck!
